Ordering a repeat prescription
In order to limit the spread of COVID-19, we are asking all patients to avoid coming directly into the surgery. All prescriptions are now being sent directly to the pharmacy downstairs or to your nominated pharmacy unless specified. PLEASE DO NOT COME INTO THE SURGERY TO COLLECT YOUR PRESCRIPTION.
We are unable to accept repeat prescription requests over the telephone.
You can order your repeat prescription in the following ways:
- Order online with Patient Access or the NHS App
- Email bnssg.healthwestph@nhs.net (including name, date of birth and medication being requested).

Collecting your prescription
Please allow 5-7 working days, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. All prescriptions are now being sent directly to the pharmacy downstairs or to your nominated pharmacy unless specified, please do not come into the surgery to collect your prescription. If you have any problems please telephone the surgery.
Clinicians will only prescribe the necessary medications you need. The surgery will also not issue prescriptions for paracetamol.

Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
