I qualified in 2004 from Bristol University before going on to complete hospital rotations in Bristol followed by General Practice training in the Bath and Bristol Area. I have been working as a GP since 2008 and joined WMG in 2022 after 9 years working as a GP in South Bristol.  I chose to specialise in general practice in order to practice the full breadth of medicine whilst offering continuity of care and a whole person approach.

Alongside my role at the practice I am the Clinical Lead for Cancer for BNSSG ICB, a role focused on improving the care of patients with cancer across the local area. I also work as a GP mentor for newly qualified GPs and am a GP appraiser.

Outside of work I enjoys spending time with my husband, three children and  family and friends.
